Certified as a LEED Platinum building by the USGBC due to innovation, efficiency, and creative use of recycled materials. The campus incorporated a hybrid geo-thermal water-source heat pump and heat recovery system for the building space conditioning and a solar PV farm to provide electricity for daily building lighting.

The campus building was designed for the science and technology courses including simulation classroom for nursing, computer engineering, and technology.
